Tires are forgotten in our day-to-day travel to and fro, and they are neglected, usually, until an automotive technician tells the owner that they are getting bald. But taking proper car of them can make them last a bit longer than not caring! We propose a few quick tips to make your tires last longer..
1. Do not tun the steering wheel when the vehicle is not in motion. Doing so may cause flat spots in the areas directly on the bottom of the tire. People often do this when trying to straighten out parked alignment with tires in a parking spot.
2. Keep proper inflation. This is important because it will wear the out faster if you do not! And DO NOT use the number on the tire to dictate the PSI used, use the number on the inside of the driver-side door.
3. Keep your wheels aligned! Your tires will wear out so much faster if your wheels are not aligne as you fly down the road.
4. Ensure suspension is in proper working order. If you are unsure have it inspected. The shocks are what keep your tires on the road, so this will impact the life of the tire!
We hope these simple, easy to use tips help!
