Dear Mr. Bowen [Pohanka Service Director]–

I just wanted to write to thank your staff for helping us out of a difficult situation yesterday. My teenage son was on his way back to Montgomery County, Maryland from Fenwick with friends in his Hyundai Azeraon Thursday when the check engine light came on and the accelerator stopped working.

After spending another night at the beach, on Friday he explored options with a local mechanic who diagnosed the problem as a TPS failure but was not able to help until Monday. That was not an option for us. Our search for help led us to your dealership and John in the parts department who confirmed that you had that part, and that the repair was covered by the Hyundai warranty, which meant that the tow from Selbyville to Salisbury and the service could be covered, thank goodness.

After contacting Hyundai Roadside assistance, we were able to get the car towed to your dealership. Though the tow took longer than expected, I was in contact with John who assured me that the part could be replaced that afternoon. When the boys arrived at your dealership they received excellent customer service, and especially appreciated your customer lounge:)

In a little over an hour they were on their way back home, safe and sound.

Thank you to you and your staff for making this happen. From beginning to end, everyone was professional and helpful!
